Amazon Android Appstore opens its doors!

Other than 626 e-books and e-magazines (let’s not forget that Amazon is one of the world’s most important online bookstores), Amazon’s Android Appstore also offers magazines, online games and a wide range of useful applications, designed by a team of developers that weren’t out of work throughout the past few weeks. Little surprise: the addictive Angry Birds is offered, free of charge, to users. By doing so, it’s kind of hard to ignore the most popular mobile game in the world!
Usual Amazon gateway users will not be disoriented when browsing through the new Appstore because we can still find the same Amazonian features. With the increasing popularity of Android phones and 2011 sales predictions for Kindle’s tablets (8 million units), the commissioning of the Appstore should achieve great success and benefit from long-term sustainability.
