The Project :

Maxime Landry is a Quebec performer who became famous in the cultural scene thanks to Star Académie in 2009. His album, Vox Pop, which has sold over 40000 copies in its first week of sales in Quebec, is now certified double-platinum. The album's success is partially due to Vortex Solution's social networking development strategies. Therefore, Productions J was sold on the idea about Vortex Solution designing a platform that gives users the opportunity to take part in a contest that provides them control over choosing the songs that would make the cut on the album.

The Solution :

Vortex Solution has built a social networking campaign in which Maxime Landry fans were invited to vote online for their favorite songs that would be featured on Vox Pop, and by which it has significantly helped to market the album.

The Outcome :

5 000 people were drawn to go online to take part in the Vox Pop contest thanks to a close collaborative work with Vortex Solution. In a way, the company has made it possible for Maxime Landry to become one of Quebec's biggest musical acts in the last five years which has rewarded him a double-platinum album.

This is why he did not hesitate to accept Vortex Solution's offer to appeal to a wider audience through the use of new communicational techniques such as social networking, in the hopes of bringing him into the digital era.

The Solution :

Vortex Solution managed the task of ensuring Jean-Marc Chaput's presence on the web realm through some social networks such as Twitter and Facebook.

The Outcome :

As a result, Jean-Marc Chaput's increased visibility has generated more ticket and book sales. Therefore, Vortex Solution has successfully managed its social networking activity because it has helped to strengthen Jean-Marc Chaput's positive image and to promote his inspirational messages to a larger crowd with who he can now interact on the web.

The Project :

Founded in 1990, Fondation Auberges du cœur is a non-profit-making organization whose mission is to lend a hand to disadvantaged youngsters in Quebec. The Foundation organizes many public awareness campaigns in order to promote their activities and to encourage people to stand shoulder to shoulder with today's youth. This is why Vortex Solution, joined by Montreal agency Bleublancrouge and Elliot-Elliot, carried out the "Un coup dehors" video project in which about thirty Quebec artists were filmed singing one of their songs on different Montreal corner streets.

The Solution :

Vortex Solution implemented social networks as well as putting up online videos of the "Un coup dehors" event through various platforms which allowed it to become a larger-scaled project due to an increased web visibility.

The Outcome :

This joint collaboration contributed to the Foundation's awareness campaign through its strategic use of social networks. This team work turned out to be productive on all levels; the organization successfully got its solidarity message across and the company, in support of a great cause, pulled of a great media stunt.

The Project :

As a promoter and proud representative of Quebec's field workers, the UPA (L'Union des producteurs agricoles) has made its mark in the agricultural community. The amount of effort that has been invested in improving the workers' living conditions and the commitment that the organization has demonstrated throughout the years have made it possible for the UPA to give voice to the agricultural community. In the same manner, Vortex Solution has launched and rolled-out a communicational strategy for the UPA on social networks that produced a most positive result: the organization is putting the Facebook and Twitter platforms to good use by sharing information about its activity and to keep UPA fans posted on current affairs

The Solution :

Promotional campaigns were launched for the audience, such as a photo-contest which took part on Open Day in Quebec farms and which attracted a significant amount of contestants on Facebook. UPA fans were asked to go to one the contest's participating farms and to photograph the surroundings. The owner of the picture that got the most "iLike" votes has been granted $1000 worth of groceries to Provigo, and other contestants were eligible to win two $200 "Marché de chez nous" baskets.

The Outcome :

By being present on Facebook and by organizing and carrying into effect promotional campaigns, the UPA has managed to increase its visibility on social networks and, consequently, to raise public awareness in regard to UPA's projects and developments.
