Syneos Health Participants

We are proud to announce the launch of the new Syneos Health Participants website, a website design project delivered in close collaboration with the client’s teams and deployed for both Canada and the United States.

This mandate focused on creating a clear, reassuring, and high-performance digital platform capable of supporting early-phase clinical research activities while placing participant experience and trust at the core of the website design.

The success of this website design project is rooted in a seamless and ongoing collaboration between the Syneos Health teams and Vortex Solution. Continuous exchanges, a deep understanding of medical and regulatory challenges, and strong alignment around shared objectives enabled the creation of a coherent, reliable, and sustainable institutional website. This close collaboration was essential to translating complex content into an accessible, human, and reassuring digital experience.

The website design is built on an advanced UX-UI approach, carefully crafted to guide participants effectively at every stage of their journey. Information architecture, navigation, and visual design were developed to simplify understanding, reduce friction, and foster trust. The website delivers a seamless experience across all devices while meeting high standards of performance, accessibility, and readability.

The website was developed using the latest generation of Adobe ColdFusion, providing a stable, secure, and scalable technological foundation. This architecture enables Syneos Health to evolve the platform over time while ensuring the level of reliability required for an institutional website connected to early-phase clinical research activities.

An advanced analytics approach was integrated from the earliest stages of the website design to support continuous optimization of user journeys and content. This data-driven vision enables better understanding of usage patterns, ongoing improvements to the user experience, and the maintenance of high performance over time.

As part of the website design, particular attention was given to regulatory compliance related to cookies for both Canada and the United States. Consent mechanisms were designed to meet the specific requirements of each jurisdiction while maintaining a consistent and respectful user experience.

For the Canadian version, cookie management reflects obligations related to personal information protection and consent. For the U.S. version, the consent architecture addresses applicable regulatory frameworks, particularly regarding transparency and user preference controls. Consent management is handled through byscuit.com, our Canadian cookie management solution, seamlessly integrated into the platform to ensure compliance, performance, and strong data governance.

The website is hosted on Vortex Solution’s cloud infrastructure which is certified SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001, ensuring a high level of security, reliability, and data governance. This technological foundation is essential for an institutional healthcare website operating in a highly regulated environment.

At Syneos Health, the Early Phase team brings more than 30 years of experience in delivering safe, high-quality clinical studies. The organization operates advanced research units in Québec City and Miami, bringing together over 800 medical and scientific professionals dedicated to participant safety and well-being. These facilities are designed to conduct complex studies while placing comfort and safety at the center of every interaction.
